Hurricane Dorian is set to deliver powerful storm conditions to the coast of the Carolinas this week, with up to 7 feet of storm surge and heavy rainfall, along with hurricane force winds from Charleston all the way to the Outer Banks. With a landfall now expected, those in coastal areas of NC, SC and GA should take extreme precautions and prepare for devastating conditions.
Typhoon Lingling is intensifying substantially this morning local time, and is about to reach the southern Ryukyu islands of Japan. Lingling could become a Category 3 or 4 storm as it moves through the islands and into the East China Sea. The storm poses a threat to the Korean Peninsula at the end of the week.
