Have you ever looked at Instagram celebrities and asked yourself how they built such a massive following? There are very simple and practical techniques that you can use to leverage Instagram and grow your business or brand.

In this video, I go into detail on 4 practical techniques you can start using right now. These techniques will absolutely help you grow your brand. When executing on this, be sure to pay attention to detail because every piece of content you produce has the potential to grow your reach and your audience.

1 – Use Hashtags

Hashtags are the simplest and most effective way you can grow your follower count and get more exposure on Instagram. First you must do some research, then create a list of 20 or even 30 hashtags and save this list in a notepad document on your phone. When you upload a new picture, simply copy and paste all the hashtags into the first comment. This will keep the content from being diluted with hashtags but will register your content into all those hashtags.

2 – Use Quote Pictures

Quote pictures will always be popular.

I use different apps to create quality quote images. Typorama and Instaquote. Some apps can do things that the other can’t so using both of them effectively will get you the best results.

Also, be sure to put text over top of your videos with the Text on VS app.

3 – Influencer Marketing

You need to reach out to other influencers and find a way to have them post about you or your business.

First you must network and find the people you want to target. After that you can either share for share with them, or you can even pay them to have them post on their own Instagram account. This will get you more exposure and will gain you followers.

4 – Instagram Stories

Instastories have quickly become very popular. You should be uploading pictures and videos on Instastories very frequently. You will not bother people with too much posting like you would on other platforms because the user has the option to skip over you if he or she wishes.

Don’t worry about being too polished to too professional with these posts. You can document your day.

Also, be sure to upload images directly from your camera roll.
