Peer to Peer presenter Balamurugan will explore the use of yoga as a tool for human resource development to enhance organizational effectiveness, with special reference to Isha yoga. He’ll also explore the ways in which yoga can impact public policy formulation and improve effectiveness of implementation. About the speaker: Mr. Balamurugan belongs to the Indian Administrative Services and comes to the Maxwell School to pursue a Certificate of Advanced Study in Public Administration with an additional interest in sustainable development. In India, Mr. Balamurugan serves as Secretary, Local Governments & Municipal Administration in Punjab State and CEO of Punjab Municipal Infrastructure Development Company. Distinctively, he served as the CEO of Isha Foundation, (a global NGO promoting yoga & social projects) on deputation from the Government.
