The Population Health Symposium was a one day mini conference on Friday, November 2nd, 2018.This event aimed to build interdisciplinary relationships between population health scholars on the hill to generate proposals for external funding. The day consisted of lightning round research talks by faculty members from SU, SUNY Upstate, and SUNY ESF, and highlighted the resources and focus of research centers at the institutions. Participants had the opportunity to brainstorm ideas for specific funding proposals during breakout sessions centered around major themes: Child & Maternal Health, Environmental Health, Addiction & Mental Health, Veterans, Trauma, & Violence; Disability; and Health-Related Policy.
