Cunningham (PSc/Psych ’74) joined the Maxwell School for a discussion on "Afghanistan, Violent Islamic Extremism, and America," as a part of Syracuse University's Orange Central on September 16, 2016. He discussed the current state of affairs with Afghanistan and the importance of developing a long-term, sustainable strategy in the region.
