Mistake 1 - Over complicating your web design. Websites perform best the simpler they are. This means lots of white space. This means using content to deliver a clear and precise message.
Do not over clutter or complicate your design because of your excitement. Over time, you can always improve upon your design but when you first build it, simple is better.
Mistake number 2 - Spending money on social media advertising too soon. This could be a very costly mistake because if you don't properly execute on your ad spend, you will waste money by the minute.
Social media ads are great and highly effective, but we want to be sure that the money we are spending is providing a return. Be patient and know what you are getting into.
Mistake number 3 - Not proactively selling your products or services. Selling is an uncomfortable process and to compensate, many people create websites and take a passive approach by creating content and posting pictures. You will never grow your business this way.
Learn how to sell. You can do this through effective copy writer, through calls to action or even through face to face salesmanship. You must take an active role is selling your product or service.
